Coaching that begins
with listening.
I am Aarav Sharma, founder of Truesaarthi. I spent eleven years studying why good people get stuck in good jobs, and the last decade helping them get unstuck — one honest hour at a time.

I did not set out to be
a life coach.
For most of my twenties I worked in organisational psychology, which mostly meant designing systems to make large groups of people slightly more effective. I was good at it. I found it almost entirely hollow.
The part that mattered always happened afterwards. Someone would stay behind, close the laptop, and say the real thing — that they had not wanted this job for three years, that they had stopped sleeping, that they could not remember choosing any of it. Twenty minutes of that did more than six months of process design.
So I built a practice around those twenty minutes. No frameworks to sell, no certification ladder to climb, no promise that your life will look like mine. Just a room, a reliable hour, and someone paying close enough attention to notice what you keep walking around.
Nine years later I have had roughly three thousand of those hours. I still find them the most interesting thing I do.
- 2011
Organisational psychology
Six years inside large companies, watching capable people become quietly miserable in well-designed roles.
- 2016
Private practice
Left to build a practice around the part of the job that actually helped: the unhurried conversation nobody had budgeted for.
- 2020
ICF accreditation
Certified at ACC level, and started supervising other coaches — which changed how I hear my own questions.
- 2024
The Truesaarthi Studio
Opened a permanent studio in Indiranagar, and began running small retreats twice a year.
Six things I would
say on day one
If you disagree with most of these, we probably are not the right fit — and that is genuinely useful to know before you book.
You are not a project to be optimised.
Most stuckness is a decision wearing a disguise.
Advice is cheap; attention is not.
Rest is infrastructure, not a reward.
Small kept promises beat large broken ones.
The goal is a life you want to be inside.

Four principles, held
fairly strictly
They are not a method. They are the conditions under which this work is honest enough to be worth your money.
Clarity First
Before anything changes, the problem has to be said out loud in words that are true. Most sessions begin here — and about half of them end here too.
Small Steps Matter
I would rather you keep a small promise for a month than break an ambitious one in a week. Momentum is built from things you can repeat while tired.
Empowered Growth
I do not hand out plans. You know your life better than I ever will — my work is to ask the question you have been avoiding, then hold the silence after it.
Self Awareness
Every pattern made sense once. We look for what yours was protecting before deciding whether it still earns its place.
What working together
actually felt like
Shared with permission, lightly trimmed for length and nothing else.
I came in wanting a new job and left having rewritten how I make decisions. My coach never once told me what to do — just kept asking the question I was walking around.
Six sessions. The first one was uncomfortable in a way I needed. By the fourth I was saying no to things without writing a paragraph of apology first.
I had been describing my life as fine for about three years. One hour at Truesaarthi and I finally had accurate words for it. That alone changed the next six months.
Let’s find out if this
is a good fit.
Thirty minutes, no charge, no pitch. If I am not the right coach for you I will say so, and usually I can point you at someone who is.
